Kitchen screen and KOT printing

New orders appear on a live screen with a sound, and a kitchen order ticket (KOT) prints on the printer you already own.

• Rings on every order. A loud, repeating alert makes sure a busy kitchen hears it. Choose the sound in Settings.
• Prints a KOT. Accepting an order opens the kitchen ticket with the table and items, ready for your thermal printer.
• Works on a phone or tablet. Open the dashboard on any device, or use the Android app.

A kitchen screen without new hardware

Open the Orders screen on any phone, tablet or laptop in the kitchen. New orders ring, and can keep ringing until someone accepts them. They then move through preparing and ready, so the floor knows what is coming.

If your kitchen works from paper tickets, accepting an order can open its KOT for printing straight away on a thermal printer connected to that device.

Questions

Do I need special hardware?

No. Any phone, tablet or laptop works, and a normal thermal printer for KOTs.

Can I change the alert sound?

Yes. Choose the sound and whether it repeats, separately for orders, waiter calls and bill requests.
